Very much run as an old boys club, not just the core organization, but the broader network they cultivate.
The younger staff has very high turnover, especially among women. I've spoken with almost all former female staff members and they all had bad reflections on working there (and some men do too).
Women and people of color often confided in me that they felt excluded, discriminated against, or disrespected.
The boss can be quite temperamental and it made for a tense environment at times with people walking on eggshells or working behind the scenes to placate him.
They present themselves as being very woke, but it's pure performance. They are unwilling to actually change anything structurally about the organization.
