Unfortunately, the cons of my experience with this company far outweighed the pros. I'll break down my experience chronologically. I successfully completed three rounds of interviews with the hiring staff. One of the managers I interviewed with was unexpectedly terminated about six months after I onboarded, despite having been with the company for several years. This was concerning, as she had repeatedly emphasized the job security and long employee lifecycle at the company. When I accepted the formal offer, the operations staff assured me multiple times that they intended to provide a generous salary and benefits because they wanted me to "stay with them for a long time." However, ten months later, it became clear that the firm had misrepresented itself, not only in terms of its staff assigned to a federal contract but also regarding the federal team itself. This led to an extremely hostile work environment. When the manager of the Breck team reached out to both federal and Breck leadership for support, she was not only ignored but also subsequently terminated—along with the rest of the team. This experience gave me the impression that Breck does not prioritize the well-being of its employees or make genuine efforts to match employees with a healthy and functional work environment. It also appears that Breck offers promises of generous salaries and benefits to avoid paying hourly rates, knowing they may terminate employees as soon as they can no longer profit from contracts where Breck may have misrepresented itself. I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking long-term work stability, loyalty, or a positive and supportive work environment.

It sounds like you are upset by this administration’s choice to cancel your contract, and that is understandable. I can tell what contract you were on by the details you included, and therefore I know how hard our corporate team worked with the client on the issues you mentioned. It was far from ignored when it was a weekly item on my desk. In the future, if you do not like a client you are supporting, you should contact HR to ask about changing contracts or consider leaving. While, it's never ideal to lose talent, no one is ever stuck. Just because something did not work out as planned also doesn’t mean someone was lied to. You say the only people who should work here are people who know the CEO (me) as though I had some kind of power to stop the contract terminations initiated by DOGE. I wish that I did. No government contracting company wants to be experiencing this. “Termination for convenience” is not a standard situation, and there are many companies out of business and people who are impacted. The company has only 2 people that I knew before hire, and unfortunately, when the government decides to cancel a contract this way, there is nothing that can be done. Knowing me wouldn’t change it. There are a few other inaccuracies in your post that indicate you are upset and want to express it. I understand the feeling.
