It was nice to work there, boss was very smart, other boss was very caring. I felt appreciated.

You're always encouraged to take on more responsibility and work independently, which is great for broadening your skill set and finding new projects.

You're basically getting paid at poverty level. Unclear guidance from senior management, lack of transparency from senior management (even though the company is ~15 people), and rewarding people based on relationships rather than hard work and accomplishment are some of the things that come to might. Also, getting threatened to be fired every week at the company meeting.
