Unrealistic quotas after acquisition, work harder to make as much or less

I’ve worked at a handful of firms and experienced their unique cultures. The most infamous ones had a strong culture that quickly and easily won people over, but lacked depth and expected conformity as the only way forward. At BrightTALK, my experience has been unlike any other job. I feel I have a voice - I can share constructive feedback and celebrate in the wins; I can ask for help when I need it and attain support; I can share my opinion and commence healthy debate; I can share my ideas and run with them to make a difference. I don’t feel stifled or censored, I feel empowered, challenged, and pushed to be better, professionally and personally. I appreciate the genuine care I receive from my team, colleagues, and leadership. I have grown more throughout my tenure at BrightTALK than anywhere else. Although some days are tough or hard (as is life), when the next day comes, I’m excited for what’s ahead and energized by everyone around me. When I reflect on the those days, I learn something from them that I can apply in the days still to come… truly learning and growing, the very heart of our company values and who we are. We have a culture I’m very proud to be a part of.

BrightTALK moves very quickly so it can challenging to prioritize all the great work… so focus on building a great team and the job will be rewarding.
