Svantaggi
I've been with Broadleaf early 2019. Unfortunately they are not supportive of those of us in the Guard and reserve. During my deployment the company reached out to me because they had trouble finding a back fill for my position while I was away serving. So I reach out to my people in my network to fill it, trying to be a team player. Upon returning from Afghanistan in 2020 I was never offered my position back (strategic communications) which is the same thing I do in the Army and during my deployment. Instead they placed me in some random role that I no experience in to only fire me 4 months later without notice, I mean no warning, write up or any communication. It was just a surprise. I attempted to use my rights under USERRA and that was met with further retaliation by them telling the unemployment office I was fired for "misconduct" Broadleaf is mainly an IT company and has been winning contracts outside of that field an it has lead to toxic work environment because leadership doesn't understand the needs of the employee or the contract. The company itself doesn't even have a comms plan, which I offered to help them develop. No matter how many meetings employees have with upper management there's really no change they don't listen to employee concerns. If you're not in the IT field, Broadleaf offers no room or resources for potential growth. They are really just a vehicle for your paycheck that's it
