I have quite a few frustrations and most of the sales team feels the same. For starters we have been offered gift cards on a few occasions by recruiting for leaving good reviews on glassdoor, and this is absurd. When I decided to take the job offer at Broadly, recruiting was vague regarding expectations and the sales duties I was to have. Once I came on board the on-boarding was fast. To this day I am yet to receive sales training that is going to prepare me to succeed. Training is missing and there is no accountability for anyone to lead sales training for the sales team. There is a complete lack of enablement at Broadly and this is a concern because most of us are looking for help but have no where to go. No training yet we are required to make 100+ dials per day and we are expected to close several deals per month yet no training on how to do this successfully! The inbounds and trade-shows are reserved for a select few individuals and this makes obtaining quota quite the difficult journey. In fact most of us are far from tracking towards our quotas. Other frustrations are surrounding the high amount of claw backs as well as the cover that must be met before I can make commissions. So I have to close a many deals before I am eligible for commissions? ! This is mind blowing. I am looking for a light at the end of this tunnel and I haven't found it yet. The pod meetings are not open door even if they say that they are, so if we communicate frustrations we have a concern that we can get in hot water for voicing our view point.
