Lovely work environment and most people come to work to support our customers.

Bromford looks good on paper, however as you peel back the layers there are many issues. The first one the CEO has not allowed any communication around EDI, there has never been any communication from him or the organisation on any subjects impacting the communities or workers examples Gaza, George Floyd and recent riots. The chiefs and senior leaders are all white , the board is all white. This means they have no idea what the community or staff maybe feeling in this space. It seems his chiefs are scared of him as this has created Bromford to continue to pay contractors daily rates of thousands to implement the Horizon of housing systems. The system is so bad and Bromford continue to waste customers money to implement it. Whilst staff did not get a full bonus this year , money has been wasted on a system that would have been rubbish 20 years ago. The merger cements the white wash as another all white board and leaders. Bromford live your DNA be bold and buy systems that are best for your customers and staff, not just continue because you are embarrassed of the past investment. Bromford you need to do better and the CEO and chiefs should be ashamed with the continued silence in subjects that impact the community.

We have several projects underway, including an exciting place-based pilot that aims to better tailor our services to the specific needs of the communities we serve. In general the people who work here are great and help each other and want to make a difference. The aims of the organisation sound great and draw you in to feel like you can be yourself and have your say, the reality is very different.

In customer experience the senior leadership is top down, restrictive and bullying. When issues and concerns are raised even from within leadership roles these are swept under the carpet. If you question decisions or aren't a yes person you are described as negative even if you do this in a constructive way. There is also a sense of you get roles if your face fits

Thank you for posting your review, we're sorry to hear that things didn't work out for you. Lots of what you raise point towards the fact there has been so much change at Bromford - which can feel uncomfortable and unsettling for colleagues. We have, and are continuing to, put lots of support in place for teams, individuals and leaders, and our transformation programme is now well underway; helping us align our services and improve how we do things.
