Toxic work culture with no chance of progression. I've worked here just over 7 years and and had 5 managers during that time, been promised development been put on courses to improve my skills and then expected to do more work for the same pay. One to ones get fudged, anual performance reviews get fudged, people taken on as multi skilled engineers with no experience who are lazy and slow. Company doesn't care about employees well being, having been out on the road since 7am I got caught out on the motorway coming home where there was a lorry fire and didn't get home until 9.20pm and was expected to turn up for work next day usual time with no time off in lieu or overtime so a 14 and half hour day for 8 hours pay. Communication poor and disorganised, nobody takes any responsibility and hides behind excuses. I'm due to leave soon and was told my role is being replaced by a multi which I find strange as they couldn't develop me as a multi after 7 years so feel badly let down. I'm considering if I have a case for constructive dismissal.

In general the people who work here are great and help each other and want to make a difference. The aims of the organisation sound great and draw you in to feel like you can be yourself and have your say, the reality is very different.

In customer experience the senior leadership is top down, restrictive and bullying. When issues and concerns are raised even from within leadership roles these are swept under the carpet. If you question decisions or aren't a yes person you are described as negative even if you do this in a constructive way. There is also a sense of you get roles if your face fits

Thank you for posting your review, we're sorry to hear that things didn't work out for you. Lots of what you raise point towards the fact there has been so much change at Bromford - which can feel uncomfortable and unsettling for colleagues. We have, and are continuing to, put lots of support in place for teams, individuals and leaders, and our transformation programme is now well underway; helping us align our services and improve how we do things.
