Working with Brooksource has been an unbelievable experience, in every sense of the phrase. Truly no other work experience that I've had has been as much of a grind, yet as immensely satisfying while working. Good things come to those who wait, and with the right mindset/attitude and work ethic, the senior management will bend over backwards to help you reach your goals. It is a grind, but the company metrics and support make it virtually impossible to not be successful, so long as you're willing to put in the work upfront. Success doesn't come easy here, but when it does, hold on!

Only con I can think of is that it takes someone with Grit to work here; immediate success isn't a thing. You have to be committed to the long term growth of your business (and more importantly yourself) in order to reap the rewards. That being said, putting in the work on the front end, and with a little luck, and you'll be out-earning your graduation mates within 3 years.

This company relies on growth from within, so if they see potential in you, they will help you get to that next level. There is always a huge support system around you at all times.

The amount of support can quickly turn into micromanaging, and promoting from within is great until you start protecting those who earned their title sheerly through tenure or a 'good ol' boy' system. Also, the pay is abysmal. They pay you the absolute minimum in salary and the rest is based off of commission, so even the best reps can lose everything on a clients whim, going from making almost $200K a year to $30K in the blink of an eye. They say they have protections in place for that but that's only for the people who earn the company millions of dollars for 4 consecutive years. Also, there really is no such time as a work/life balance here. They throw parties to make you think you do, but if you are out on PTO you will still be judged by your KPI's while you were out, and they expect you to pick up the phone, regardless of if you are on vacation or at your grandfathers funeral. "Still gotta keep you numbers up!"
