Poor air filtration and ventilation ( if you don't wear a dust mask 24/7 expect dust and fumes in your nose and lungs), water in airlines, machines that are abused to the point of failure with no preventative maintenance, first and second shift seem to be at war with one another, factory floor workers have a separate break room and are shunned away from the front office workers, there is also separate parking for factory floor workers around the back of the building near the dumpsters and scrap bins, fork lifts are missing parts and large pieces of tire, the maintenance supervisor sleeps after his hockey night and ignores orders for parts when asked, the maintenance department is also understaffed and stressed as nearly all machines break at least once a month. The owner and HR department are under the impression employees don't talk to one another because of the wide variety of culture employed, however it is common knowledge that refugees are being hired for up to 3 or 4 dollars less per hour than the average non refugee level worker with the same experience. The health insurance is not worth even looking at and you accrue slightly less than one hour of vacation time a week to start. The metrics used to evaluate your performance are thrown together and outdated and totally unrealistic of any machine currently in the factory. The bathrooms have broken toilets and stagnate pools of water from the leaking water lines. Bottom line, you are set up for failure, don't expect a raise, don't expect to have any fun, don't expect to make a good living, don't work here without other prospects lined up or you will regret it.
