this company hires TOP talent. you are surrounded by really great sellers and managers. the product is so badass and is beating competition. they are solving tangiable problems for our customers. the sdr team is really good. management holds a very high bar for performance and don't tolerate anything less across the company. ive worked for companys that ignore low performance/bad fit employees and the culture is terrible. BuildOps is the opposite. this company is growing so fast and i forsee my career growing at the same pace. its been a great career move for me. i would highly recommend for any one who is up for a challenge and want to feel and see their daily impact. i love the values here.i am confident this company will go all the way.

things are changing all the time. territorys, process, software, accounts, ROE, etc For people that don't like constant change I would look elsewhere. but I guess this is a sign of a growing business. def lots of growing pains. with such a cool product i wish we had more accounts to sell to. be prepared to work REALLY hard. this is the hardest job ive ever had but the opportunity is huge and worth the grind. if you work remote it can be tough to stay engaged and integrated with the team.

Work life balance. This is definitely a me issue. I get so engrossed in my customers, I tend to work longer hours so I can make sure my customers are successful in their business. This is not a requirement or expectation of this company. It’s just how I work.

There are definitely talented and hardworking people across the organization, and the office environment has fostered a strong sense of connection among employees. A lot of those relationships seem to have formed through navigating the toxic unpredictability of the company together. Compensation incentives, including bonuses, have been nice, and the period of rapid growth last year created a genuinely energizing atmosphere. The company’s mission and customer impact also contributed to a sense of purpose and motivation for many employees. Additionally, the investment in office spaces and in-person collaboration was nice.

The organization has experienced repeated restructuring over a relatively short period, including multiple rounds of layoffs and significant employee turnover. The pace of departures across teams has created MAJOR concerns about long-term stability and leadership direction. There also appears to be a noticeable lack of diversity across the company, particularly in female representation. From a market perspective, the company’s competitive advantage seems less differentiated than it once was. Innovation has slowed, and many competitors are close or already offering similar function, making it harder to see a strong forward-looking vision for the business.
