Vantaggi
The positive thing about the company is the non-leadership employees. Anyone on the management level and associate level are all hard-working and overall nice people. However, if you're interested in learning more about the business then you must speak up and ask. No one is going to go out of their way to help you unless you speak up. Also, if you want to work at a place where people are going to address you and even say "good morning" don't bother applying here.
Svantaggi
- Fake Glassdoor reviews (at least 3-4 written on this page) - CEO shows lack of commitment toward "firm" only shows up when it's convenient with his travel schedule - Spends way too much money on unnecessary items - CEO is never present but needs to have control over everything - CEO hires friends and colleagues over outside applicants - CEO will pride himself on the firm's values that make zero sense to anyone but himself - Company only wants to hire students from Ivy league or almost Ivy league Universities and Colleges - CEO uses football analogies to basically tell you you're not important and that "you don't bring in revenue" so you're not a "star". - CFO was hired after the former CFO embezzled money from company along with other major companies - New CFO was yet again another friend of Leadership team - CFO stepped in as HR (not qualified) and micromanaged showing lack of care for operation staff - CFO barks orders at his staff causing major stress to employees inside and outside the work place - Bulger Partners is NOT a positive working environment - Office structure has desks basically on top of one another, no privacy, no breathing space - If one person gets sick the entire company gets sick (trust, it happened in Dec) - Leadership team has promised employees a new office but will believe it when we see it - Rents out a WeWork space that is never utilized and operations staff is not allowed to use (wasteful) - Operation staff is expected to cover phone calls until 6 PM when the phone rings only about 1-2x throughout the day (also was not outlined in job description) - CEO will flip out on you if you bring a guest a bottled water over putting it in a glass - If you're a student coming out of school, looking for a consulting job, my suggestion to you is to really do your research on this company and make sure it's the right fit for you....
