You'll work with some superbly mediocre people who somehow are untouchable, no matter what they do or how many thousands of days off they take for vacations all over the world, or even how many days they work from home. The upper leadership, except for a few, have mostly been with the company since it was not an agency yet, or haven't worked at an agency before Bulldog. Thus, they don't know how to run an agency and are ever and always scrambling to hide their lack and try to make it out like it's just "a different way to do things" when really it's just that they don't know how to make an agency really work. In the departments that need the most change, it seems to happen at a snails pace, if at all. While some departments promote from within, some also don't, so it's easy to end up in a dead end job. They will tell you otherwise when you are sold on the job. Work-life balance is great for some, horrible for others who work 60+ hour weeks for months at a time while they watch their coworkers and bosses leisurely walk out at 5 on the dot. You may work there for years and never get even a single cost of living increase. "Guilt free" unlimited time off is not guilt free, nor unlimited - there is a 30 some odd step list of instructions on what you must do before you can take your "guilt free" time off in some departments. If you take too much (unlimited PTO) time too often, you will likely get flagged by management and they'll have their eye on you even if your job performance is stellar. It's very political, and if you don't become a "favorite," you can get canned or swept aside very easily. People sometimes get fired if the right person doesn't like them as a person. Bulldog likes to put on a smiley and super-cool facade in all possible ways, like how they offer free snacks and food - sounds great, right?! When you look closer, you see that it's mostly $1 Little Debbie cakes, Walmart brand sandwich meat and bread, and food cooked by an internal employee every weekend. That's Bulldog.
