The level of gaslighting to keep people there is unreal - They protect toxic employees due to financial expediency - It's honestly appalling the lack of baseline intelligence at this company - The lack of diversity is not just a problem, it permeates the culture so deeply that you can readily notice management looking down on employees of color and queer employees. Diversity is seen as a box to check for Bustle; they view these employees as capable, but there is a miasma of unconscious bias so deep it's clear Bustle doesn't expect nor recognize intelligence and excellence from anyone that is not a straight white person. - The compensation is below industry standard.
