They have a fantastic team of brilliant and driven analysts, and have partnerships with Tech companies that have served as a good transition to my gov't job. C4 has a really diverse set of problem sets, and encourages analysts to explore new projects. If you thrive on independence, then you'll do well. If you need to be micro-managed or closely guided, not the place for you. A LOT of briefings to pretty much every agency you could imagine, which is pretty cool given how young the office is. For the most part, the leadership is cued up with the right desk offices at the relevant agencies, meaning that the analysts' work leads to actionable results - sanctions, arrests, seizures, asset forfeitures, etc.

It can be a pretty demanding job - in part because it has a real start up mentality. There are obviously both goods and bads that go with that. While leadership is trying to change this, a lot view this as a jumping-off job, rather than a career investment. Most analysts stay 2-3 years, get great experience and skill set, then leave for a job at the IC or Treasury.
