Leadership often takes a back seat instead of providing clear direction, leaving teams without strong guidance. Frequent leadership changes from the German parent company disrupted priorities and reduced the effectiveness of the U.S. office. Mid-level management lacked experience and decision-making ability, which created inefficiencies and frustration for teams. The U.S. office was treated as expendable, with three rounds of layoffs in less than two years.
