Some of their managers need lessons in people skills. CBRE bought the buildings where I worked in the management office. After putting us all through interviews they waited until 2 weeks before the close to tell most of the management office staff they were not wanted. I was lured to stay by being offer a contract position and told I they would find me a position at another property if I helped with the transition. They brought their own team in and my duties I had been doing for three years were distributed to their employees. After apply for positions on the CBRE website at their encouragement after a month and a half I was given two weeks notice and told I would not be needed anymore.
