Nothing. Run. The company is horrible. You give so much and work so hard. Nothing is appreciated and they turn other coworkers against each other. The branch I left is all planning a walk out come October. They are upset that the old owner got asked to leave. He still goes to the job sites because his son who took over knows nothing.

I would get rid of the New England general manager. When doing lay offs the general manager couldn’t remember my name and accidentally CC me on the email showing the list of who the under performers were. My direct manager had no idea this was happening and said she would not approve it. I went out on medical and after coming back less than 2 months I was let go. I never got anything shy of a great review.

Truly great group of people who are cool, kind, and interesting. Still independent mom and pop shop with leadership who are 'hard on the outside, soft on the inside' types. Great office spaces that are much more beautiful than the increasingly prominent grey cubicles of competitors. Hybrid remote flexibility. Very family friendly and pretty decent work life balance for this industry.

A confusingly entrenched commitment to mediocrity. The work isn't as cool, flashy or sharp as it needs to be to excite clients. Losing the plot a little bit on what it means to be a creative agency, and scattered vision of what the agency actually is or does. Hiring seems more based on personality vs skill set, which can be a double edged sword... great for culture, but subjects work horse employees to burnout. For every 2 'doers' in a meeting, there are 5 'talkers'. Too top heavy. Agency is risking falling behind cooler, more modern branding.
