Wage for reps is below livable, there is no room for growth, and has become a no man’s land. The company that owns CD Baby, Downtown Music Holdings, has turned it into a horrible landscape and place to work. They will gaslight you and do everything to prove you’re wrong and small but will never acknowledge the terrible financial situation they’ve put their employees in. They will blame corporate America and shareholders and say they care but somehow have enough money to pay their higher ups as much as over 30times what their lower level employees make and have enough for anything marketing needs. If you want to work in the music industry, avoid this place. I am not sure how it is to work and any of its other subsidiaries but based on how they run cd baby, it cants be good. The company will be gone in a few years anyways.
