First of all, the positive reviews here must be taken with a pinch of salt: top management asks people who have recently had something good happen to them (ie promotion) to leave good reviews. This skews the Glassdoor ratings. CEX has very poor management practises and does not care about it's people. They have severe culture problems for which they misallocate the cause, and therefore wouldn't be able to fix if they tried. They do not try anyway. The issues come from the top. Amongst other toxic items, they take an ageist and xenophobic approach - which is part of their accepted culture, but they are now sensible enough not to shout about this.

There have been some shifts in strategy and direction over time, which can create a bit of uncertainty. However, this is understandable given the nature of our field and the need to stay responsive to external changes. The leadership team generally does a good job of explaining the “why” behind these shifts.
