Worked for CG Elite little over a month because £10 an hour is not worth the treatment from the ‘director of the company’ Cassie. She is rude, condescending and blackmails people to work for her (as evidenced in messages). She takes advantage of people who need the flexibility of jobs and considers herself far above her workers. She threatens to not give work in future if you do not take shifts when she is short on people and tries emotionally blackmail you to take shifts by swapping between threatening you and being nice. Cancellation leads to further discourse and even if she cancelled your shifts you are still threatened with a £50 fine as a result if you don’t take different shifts (sometimes even on completely different days). Perhaps if she was nicer to her staff she would have more willing to work with her and a better system. Even her clients have complained that the staff she sends are of a poor standard- the company is completely disorganised. The pay system is a disaster and if you ever try to enquire about it you get yelled out down the phone (or by voice note). Money owed is paid up to 3 months after working and despite being classed as ‘self employed’ having to do your own taxes you are charged an administration fee worth 3 hours work out of you pay slip. Be prepared to be blocked and suspended from the company if you disagree with her on any issues
