Great office and co workers. Just terribly managed

It is all about the company and not the employees what so ever. I was hired and waited 5 months to start. I even called 2 months prior stating I had other job offers if anything has changed. They said everything was fine and even agreed to a $5/hr raise to stay with them. At first they asked me to start 2 weeks later than on contract. 2 weeks into working there they said they have no work and have to put me on 75% pay and time. They then laid me off 3 weeks later due to lack of work. Human Resources is more like corporate Resources and do not care about employees. The insurance is terrible and you can find better insurance on your own. Then they lay me off and don’t uphold to their word of the severance package and even tried to put on the unemployment benefits form that my “Position was Terminated” which I had them change to lack of work. They do anything to make it look as if it’s the employees fault and not their own. I wasted $30,000 of a 401k I cashed out to just wait to start work for them

I'm sorry you didn't have a positive experience. Unfortunately, not all situations work our for us, our business, and one of our people. I wish you the best of luck in the future.

CHA is a great company to work for, I been with them for almost 8 years and can say without a doubt this is the best company I've ever worked for. They value their employees and trrat everyone with respect.

At Javan I was a person and treated with understanding and empathy. When Javan became CHA I became a number on a spreadsheet! No matter how good you are at your job, you are expendable!!! Subpar onboarding when given a new position. Upper management has a cut-throat leadership style which does not promote trust and teamwork. PTO is not awarded or structured by employee longevity but only by position held in the company which is terrible.
