Terrible leadership within the Employee Relations team. Rampant favouritism and underhanded politics at play. Limited growth opportunities. Compensation is frustratingly low compared to workload and what other banks pay for the same work. Save yourself the headache and apply to the top 4 banks instead. CIBC is trying to grow too fast and at the expense of its employees. Everyone is overworked. High turnover is indicative of ineffective leadership and the need for a culture reset.
