Vantaggi
1. Your coworkers at CiBO genuinely care about you and your happiness. I don't believe that the company leadership does, but your coworkers do. 2. I've learned more in my year at CiBO than I feel like I learned in the previous 2-3 years combined. 3. Probably on the right track for long term sustainability and profitability.
Svantaggi
1. The company shares little in common with what it was 6 months ago. I'm convinced this is a good thing from an investor perspective, but it has become a lot less desirable of a place to work. This is no longer a rocket ship. It is more like a river barge. It is going to make progress and make money, but it is going to be slow and mind-numbingly boring and while the boat is moving slowly, if you look closely the workers are working like crazy just to move 2mph. 2. The company was previously run by software engineers. It is now run by executives. There isn't really anyone in any sort of company level leadership position that is a software engineer any more. As such, product teams get loads of people rushing to complete features while... 3. CiBO realistically needs 5 more infrastructure engineers to build software the way the company is trying to build software.
