Toxic Work Culture: With only about 15 employees in the office, the environment is micromanaged, gossip-driven, and lacks professionalism. Employees are overly concerned with trivial matters like desk sizes and working hours instead of focusing on productivity. Leadership humors this instead of focusing on what matters. Unstable Leadership: From the South African office to the UK headquarters, leadership is in constant flux, creating instability and confusion. The company has had 4 CEOs in 4 years, with senior leadership changing just as rapidly. This results in a lack of vision, direction, and consistency. Poor Management: Management doesn’t understand employee roles and fails to provide guidance or support. You constantly have to prove your value because leadership has no clear grasp of what employees contribute. Lack of Processes & Structure: There are no proper systems, processes, or frameworks in place, making work chaotic and inefficient. Employees are often left to figure things out on their own without proper support or training. No Real Culture or Teamwork: Instead of fostering collaboration, the environment feels competitive in the worst way, with employees policing each other’s time and privileges rather than working as a team. No Career Growth or Development: Due to leadership instability and a lack of strategic direction, there are few opportunities for professional growth or meaningful career development.
