Since the merger announcement almost a year ago, it's been like watching a train wreck. Employees are resigning in droves. Back filling positions is at a stand still. Existing employees are working long hours with no additional compensation or retention bonuses. There's been limited or no communication from upper management. There has been no transparency from either First Citizens Bank nor CIT leadership about the merger status. No ones job is secure. Ellen Alemany is get millions of dollars in the deal and the employees are ignored. It was a great company to work for before Ellen was made president. Now it's just gone to hell.
