Vantaggi

You can hands on experience working with Doctors and PAs. But the work is very fast paced with very little downtime. The pay isn't great. If you're interested in Medical, PA or Nursing school and want to gain gain experience talking to patients and improving your bedside manner this job will teach you that. Get in and then Get out.

Svantaggi

Very busy work with pay that doesn't feel adequate. The company doesn't really care about scribes its more a necessity for them and they can and will replace you in a heartbeat. They really only care about profits and how fast they can see patients.

Vantaggi

Hands-on experience with EMR systems and patient documentation. Strong patient-facing experience with diverse cases and populations. Exposure to working with multiple providers and medical specialties. Fast-paced environment that builds adaptability and multitasking skills.

Svantaggi

Pay may feel lower compared to the intensity and volume of work- but unfortunately is typical for premed/prehealth professionals.

Vantaggi

* Great exposure to the medical field if you are seeking to have a career. * Get to work with physicians, NPs, PAs, medical assistants, X-ray technicians, and PSRs. * Learn point-of-care testing, EKG, blood draw, and urine drug screening. *Networking opportunities. (Build relation with the providers and staff members) * Access to mentorship and a letter of recommendation from providers if there is a good understanding. *Can pick up shifts and do overtime.

Svantaggi

* Bare minimum pay/starting salary is 19.50 and no raise * Fast-paced, heavy workload, extremely overworked (bring patients in, patient charting, point-of-care testing, x-ray orders, blood draws, EKGs, lab processing, referrals). * Management (practice manager, office supervisor) sucks, site manager/district manager does not care about employees. All they care about is patient volume. *If you work at a super site, you will be overworked and yet underpaid and underappreciated/valued by your manager/supervisor. *Extremely understaffed.
