The idea of a completely flexible work schedule is great, but typically a pipe dream for many people. I understand the reasons that this concept is not feasible for most companies and the jobs they offer. CLIENTSFirst Consulting is able to offer this and much more to their employees. This one thing alone has made such a positive impact on me and my family and I can’t thank them enough. Add to it, an outstanding management team and the opportunity for growth within the company and you have an all around winning combination. There are many reasons people may want or, in my case, need such a flexible work schedule built into their day. For me, it is because we are adoptive parents to an amazing special needs child. Life doesn’t happen in convenient shifts and schedules, much as we might like it to sometimes. Having the ability to clock out when our son needs extra attention, so I can meet his needs on whatever age level he happens to be in that moment, to be present and in the moment with him throughout the day, and then clock back in later to continue working have made all the difference. This is something that is incredibly difficult to do when you are tied down to a specific shift or schedule. Life is stressful enough, a work schedule should not add to that stress. Every parent, whether bio, foster, step or adoptive, especially those with special needs kids, should have the opportunity to work at a job with so much flexibility built into their day.
