Where to start. .. the interview will lure you in. They come across as warm, interested, and caring. I worked here for nearly 6 months -That's the temp to hire contract, 6 months. At first I was pleased, I thought this was going to be great. The people were kind of stand-offish, but I could deal with that, and they slowly warmed up the longer in was there. I began to realize the reason for the distance, other temps were brought in and many disappeared quickly or immediately without a word from anyone. I learned quickly not to ask questions, because when I did, I got a note from my agency to please cease all questions as it would jeapordize my position. So I went back to observing. I feel like management keeps the temperature tepid deliberately to force a different level of control over the environment and the staff. If you put a toe out of line you can and very well may be terminated without warning. They don't want the new people discussing how they feel about the place, because that would create unity. I don't think they want that. It's a weird place. The owners are pretty nice and likeable. The staff in literature fulfillment is pretty great, but if you're not a family member, you're expected to be very quiet and just focus silently on your task. Family, however is free to do as they please. My favorite Co workers were the elderly ladies in this department, I regret that I wasn't afforded an opportunity to say goodbye. I was let go after calling in sick, I didn't want to risk getting them infected. It would be much worse for them. I've not yet been informed of the actual reason for my contract termination. Bottom line for new hires, don't get comfortable. Also, don't have a second job, they'll terminate you for that too. But I don't know many who can get by on $11/hr unless you have a well employed spouse. Rules: keep your head down, mouth shut, eyes forward. Good luck.

Small company. Good place to learn. Since the team is so small it is easy to get introduced to many aspects of the business and become "jack of all trades".

The upper management is very hostile to its employees. Often swearing and outbursts. The company has a very high employee turnover rate, especially for a company of this size. There is very little sense of appreciation or respect in this company. No career advancement available.
