Straight up, people leave this place emotionally brutalized. The amount of trauma created here is disturbing and it's all done against a backdrop of healing circles and perfect social justice rhetoric. Leadership will have you believing you're changing the world. They'll make you feel like family, which is why there are a handful of employees who are very loyal to them. But the second you disagree with them or call out toxic behavior, you're out. If they need a scapegoat, they'll throw you under the bus. If they just decide they don't like you, they will push you out. Then they'll gaslight you and spin it to make it look like you left on your own. You'll see a lot of reviews from former employees that say the same thing. It's all true. Every two years they clean house and chalk it up to a strategic change or some other excuse. They have very neat ways of explaining away the negative reviews. I believed those stories for a while, but once you catch on to the toxic culture you see it everywhere, in every interaction and meeting. You're better off working at a place like Amazon or some other tech giant where at least they don't try and hide the fact that they abuse their workers and hoard power.
