There are a lot of good people working there and they do some interesting projects. Pay can be good in the good years.

There is no such thing as work-life balance. Senior Leadership is quick to make threats (ie, if people talk about pay, they will be fired) and have very little respect for employees (if they don't like it they can leave, the market is not good, so they won't leave). Over-extending on purchase of KCS lead to a lot of cost cutting and high-pressure for those remaining.
