Overall, good and talented people working at CRS. Professional office environment. Fair Pay. Somewhat achievable goals. Approachable management. Generally treats employees with respect. I learned a fair amount and was put in positions to be around some very smart people at our clients. Was involved with great events, trade shows etc...

I noticed a lot of 1099 contractors leaving reviews as full-time employees of CRS. There is no doubt that CRS cares about their contractors, and I'm not surprised they've given good reviews based on their experience, BUT this is not a fair representation of what it's like to actually work as a W-2 employee within the walls of The CRS Group. In my opinion, The CRS Group lacks management acumen from the top down and struggles to embrace new ways of thinking. During my time, I experienced many yearly cycles of talking about growth and change, but the organization as a whole has trouble getting out of its own way. The CRS Group relies on antiquated thinking, which is only exacerbated by being micromanaged at the highest level. As a result, I can only assume any creativity or drive to truly innovate by non CEO management was killed long ago. This is what I believe will continue to hinder The CRS Group from realizing any real valuable or substantial long-term change. If they continue to do the same thing year after year, they will get the same results year after year. I personally like everyone there, but that doesn't make CRS an effective organization. They will continue to do well with what they have, but don't expect major career or revenue growth, at least within the culture that existed when I was an employee. To conclude, don't expect more out of this than what it is, vastly unremarkable. It's really more of a 2.5 out of 5. Also, no 401k matching or employee profit sharing. etc..

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to thank you for all you did while you were with us and we’re grateful for your hard work. You’re right about the talented people at CRS. In our opinion, people make all the difference in this industry. For clarification, we do not staff 1099’s, over 95% of our contractors are W2 employees. However, we do agree it’s good to get perspective from employees at the client site as well as internally. It’s the internal employees that typically see and hear the most. Good and bad. We are sorry to hear your experience was less than satisfying. As for our management, they agree we can get in the way of talented people. Our intension is to learn, improve and communicate better as a team. We believe it starts at the top. A few years ago we implemented a strategy map to help us better communicate and execute our vision, services, process and values. We think it’s helped and we continue to look for ways to improve. Again, we appreciate your feedback and wish you the best in your career.

I had the pleasure of working with Sue. When the agency first called me I was a little skeptical because I've never used an agency before and I'm no teenager at 47. After conversing with Susan, I decided to go forward and I mean to tell you.....she was professional and pleasant to work with and sent me a ton of information which help me prepare for this wonderful interview, that I was blessed with the opportunity for !!!!!!! You have to be patient and tell them all your back round so they can search the best job for you. It's not always a brief phone call.
