CTX provided great training. While the mortgage business in 2004-2007 was riddled with problems I worked for a team that was full of integrity and did the right thing for clients

Not much I can think of here. It's what you make of it.

The atmosphere was professional and I had great people to worth with in my particular office. The branch manager was nice and kind. (I believe the last year they were open in my area was 2007)

The branch where I worked laid me off with same day notice. I was given a few days of severance pay, however, which I appreciated as they did not have to do this. The branch closed and is no longer open in my city. The lady from corporate who came to do the lay-offs was a higher up in the company. I could tell she looked down on those who were not actually mortgage loan officers. Dismissive.
