Vantaggi
Not many. None. Nada. Nonexistent.
Svantaggi
I am a CVS Health pharmacist. I am not the young, fresh-faced pharmacist right out of school that some focus group decided should represent the company in commercials. I am a seasoned pharmacist in my prime who has sharp skills and the benefit of experience that you would - and many do - trust to take care of them and their families. But that is irrelevant. I seriously doubt I will make my next year anniversary. My story is not unlike so many others. My age, knowledge and pay are the issues. I have begun to be targeted by unscrupulous management. There are a myriad of policies and procedures. It is difficult, if not impossible, to cover all the bases. Especially when one policy or management directive contradicts another as is so often the case. All this is by design. Enforcement of metrics applies to some but not others. Policies are interpreted to mean whatever management wants them to mean. All this is a means to an end. It is to cast off employees. If you quit, the company doesn't pay severance. If the company can justify termination no matter how thin, again, the company doesn't pay severance. My years working for CVS Health have been wasted. CVS Health has changed. It's not the company it once was. Maybe it never was.
