Vantaggi
I love that we are a remote first company. They trust you to do your job and I never feel micromanaged and still feel connected to my team which can be hard to do when everyone is remote. Callibrity still organizes yearly events that bring us all together and we are encouraged to get together with teammates quarterly through fun funds they give us to do so. We get a generous yearly learning stipend to help us grow in our fields and careers. Big plus. If there is a project or initiative that sounds interesting to you even if it's not in your usual duties, they encourage you to give it a try or experience something new. I really appreciate that attitude in a healthy way because you have the opportunities to learn new things and are encouraged to do so if you want! Executive leadership is approachable and as transparent as you can reasonably expect them to be. They actually listen to their employees and genuinely care about their culture and making positive changes (like extending their offered parental leave benefit) that make people want to stay. The culture here is awesome. Other consultancies I've worked at can be kind of "old-school" and succumb to some of that boy's club behavior and rhetoric, but I don't get that here. It is welcoming, supportive, and (dare I say) sometimes fun.
Svantaggi
I do wish our insurance was cheaper (it's not that bad really and Callibrity has taken on more of the financial burden when costs increased), but totally understand why it is the way it is. I know as we continue to grow as a company, those costs will eventually decrease.
