The graphics department was an amazing team to be a part of and the Design Director was an excellent and kind mentor. Small group with family mentality. A lot of the staff have been around since the beginning. They offered decent benefits and perks including tuition reimbursement.

Svantaggi

Suffer the same struggles as other in-house design teams I'm sure. Battles with the marketing department are generally lost because "marketing makes money, not design". Pay is on the low side and the taste and technical abilities are somewhat out-dated. Designers worked on PCs instead of macs.

CHI is a great company to work for. They offer job security, flexibility, you are rewarded for your hard work and dedication, they listen to your ideas and implement them. You really get the sense that you are family when you work here and not just another number in the "system". CHI is a successful and vibrant champion in its industry and always thriving to do better. I love working for a company where I feel my work is doing a lot for people everyday.

Svantaggi

Lack of communication. It's hard when you're a manager and your employees are relaying important information, including changes or additions within your own department, to you and not your direct manager (Senior Manager). No tuition reimbursement if currently offered. It would be nice if they'd bring back this really great benefit.
