Vantaggi
The work-life balance is great. As many of the reviews state the "free food" or "unlimited time away" are/were the only quantifiable pros with many employees taking full advantage to bail for month-long vacations at any given time.
Svantaggi
-Culture The company that Campaign Monitor was known for no longer exists. Everyone in the photos on Glassdoor is no longer there, nor is the fancy office, the lunches, the team-building events, and talent development. -People Much of the talent (6mth-5yr tenure) having put in a strong fight to uplift a tired-looking product, have either left for better-run companies or been made redundant over the repeated "global restructurings" (3 in the last 12 months) as they repatriate many roles to the northern hemisphere. -Compensation Most of the roles are below industry rates (except for senior leadership of course). There are no bonuses either (except for senior leadership,...of course). - Career Development There is no talent development. People who get promoted to management positions cannot execute their functions effectively because they lack the necessary mentorship and training to succeed. -Leadership I found the US-based executive team of Marigold to be disingenuous and exceptionally uninspiring in their approach to leadership and product. With each successive restructure they wheel out a new "strategic objective(s)" often with little visibility of how the customers use the product ensuring evidence-led roadmaps that would have delivered customer value are tossed in the bin. In my opinion, they are unable to build high-performing teams nor can they develop, communicate, and execute the necessary strategy to deliver value.
