Vantaggi

You can take your career here as far as you want. There is a direct path to leadership where you can take ownership of your own career and really make it into what you want. Within the guidelines of the company's mission and vision statements, there is unlimited freedom to conduct business how you see fit and the salary you’re paid is directly correlated to the value you add to the organization. If you work harder and perform better, your compensation will directly reflect that. I started out part time while still going to college. Within the last 4 years I've advanced through the ranks quickly by not only proving myself consistently, but applying myself in situations where I easily could have just taken a back seat. It's not an easy job, but it really is that simple. This company is best suited for folks who are entrepreneurial in spirit. Everything you need to be successful is provided by the company, but that doesn’t mean they give out hand outs. You have to earn your place here. Lastly, we work hard and play hard. There is no other career I know of where you can earn this kind of money yet still maintain such a good work/life balance. Family comes first for this organization. We're all here for the paycheck, but there is a tremendous amount of flexibility and freedom that comes with it. If you are looking for a place where you will be rewarded for your efforts and want to maintain a great work life balance there is nowhere better.

Svantaggi

This job is not perfect, as no job is, and it's not for the weak of heart. The bottom line is this is arguably one of the most jobs there is. If it was easy, everyone would do it. There are a few reasons people fail at working for Campos that I will outline for you here. If you think you would fall into any of these categories, this is not the place for you... 1. This is not an easy job. If you’re expecting to come into work, sit on your desk and spending time on Facebook all day, then “clock out” exactly at 5 pm and collect a paycheck at the end of every week for the next 10 years. You’re not only delusional, but you’re going to get a rude awakening after only a week or so. This is not a forgiving work environment. If you’re not here to work, you’re going to be shown the door. 2. Lack of personal accountability. Piggybacking off my last point, if you’re the kind of person who needs to constantly be checked up on to make sure you’re getting things done and doing the work correctly, you’re not going to like working here and that’s why you won’t be working here very long. No one has time to babysit anyone else, and while that sounds harsh, it’s just the reality of the industry we work in. 3. Arrogance. I have had the pleasure of working with some of the most talented people in the area, but some have fallen flat on their face trying to do this job. The reality is there are few other jobs like it. I've seen more talented and arguably smarter people than me come in but fail because they thought their prior experience was enough for them to succeed. This is not the case. You have to be willing to put in the work.

Thanks for the feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the coffee and lunches. As for the slow days — those are the exception, not the rule. Our teams stay consistently busy, and we’re always driving meaningful work and momentum.

Vantaggi

Some hands‑on tasks that could’ve been useful in a better environment

Svantaggi

Even after giving myself time before posting this, the frustration hasn’t faded at all. Working at Campos felt like a nonstop cycle of confusion—priorities changed mid‑task, instructions contradicted each other, and “urgent” meant whatever someone decided in the moment. Communication gaps were constant: updates didn’t reach the right people, teams weren’t aligned, and accountability shifted around instead of landing where it belonged. Some days were overwhelming to the point of burnout; other days were spent waiting for decisions that never came. Stepping back didn’t soften anything. The experience still feels just as draining, disorganized, and unnecessarily difficult as it did while I was there.

We appreciate feedback, but we strongly disagree with this characterization. Campos operates in a fast-moving, real-world environment where priorities do evolve—often in response to client needs, operational realities, or time sensitive demands. That isn’t “disorganization”; it’s the nature of the work. Employees who succeed here are adaptable, communicate proactively, and understand that flexibility is a requirement—not an inconvenience. Clear processes, ownership, and accountability are in place. When someone experienced ongoing confusion or burnout, it typically reflected a mismatch between their expectations and the role’s actual demands, not a lack of structure or leadership. Waiting for decisions “that never came” is not consistent with how work gets done here; decisions are made daily, and progress is expected. We are transparent during hiring about the pace, pressure, and responsibilities of our roles. Many team members find the environment challenging but rewarding and grow significantly as a result. For others, it’s simply not the right fit—and that’s okay. We wish the former employee well, but we stand by our leadership, our processes, and the expectations we set. Campos continues to attract and retain people who thrive in a dynamic, accountable, and result driven workplace.
