There's no more growth roadmap for anybody and, mangers/directors only want stablity to keep themselves safe so lots of undermining behavior to prioritize maintaining the status quo over recognizing or enabling excellence for overachivers. - Toxic environement where low performers easily get away with under performing in the name of culture & people; lots of senior people/managers spends >50% of time on office event coordination instead of core day to day duties, over working the subordinates and yet they still gatekeep opportunties strictly based on seniority instead of ability
