Never even got passed the onboarding - Recensione dipendente - Solar Electrician presso Cape Fear Solar Systems

Was told I would have to pay for my own uniform, was not allowed to substitute and if this was damaged during the course of their work, I had to replace it. Every piece over priced $22 for a black leather belt, was not issued work pants even for working on construction sites!!!! Company is all about image rather than work imo. When questioned about being charged, was told the owner had decided this due to abuse, whatever that means . Can only think this wasn't mentioned during the interview as it's a deal breaker (well for me at least, I've never worked anywhere I've been charged for uniform)
