Culture Marred by Recent Events - Recensione dipendente - Associate Consultant presso Capgemini Invent

My overall positive experience has been completely ruined in the past month. After bringing up cost of living costs rising in the graduate community we were told wage changes could not be made out of ‘cycle’ (i.e. each year). We accepted this, but over the past few weeks it has become apparent that the two ‘grades’ above us (consultant and senior consultant) are receiving pay rises. Not only were we lied to, but by ignoring the lowest paid employees on the ‘consulting’ ladder, it shows a complete disrespect for the situation currently facing us. Incredibly disappointing and makes me fear that the lofty business goals the company have are already detracting from the otherwise great culture.
