Vantaggi
Working for this company under the previous CEO was a good experience. The company had a very friendly and supportive culture that fostered teamwork and collaboration. The company used to offer help in relocation and the culture and motivation within the company were outstanding, with employees feeling supported and encouraged. There were many opportunities for growth and development, as well as regular feedback and recognition for hard work.
Svantaggi
Capital was a great place to be until a new CEO took over. Ever since then, everything turned into a mess. The mass hiring of IG employees completely changed the culture and dynamics of the workplace. Meanwhile, layoffs became rampant, and it seems like mostly Belarusians, Russians, and Ukrainians are the ones being let go. What's worse, some people were fired on the same day without any warning or explanation, leaving them in a state of shock and confusion. To make matters worse, the company's new shiny office in London was exposed, which seemed to be more about image and status rather than practicality or efficiency. In addition, one of the key people in the company was known for throwing people under the bus and never standing up for his employees. This created a toxic work environment where people felt like they couldn't trust their colleagues or managers. Overall, I would not recommend working for this company under its current leadership. It's a far cry from the safe and supportive workplace that it used to be. If you value stability, fairness, and transparency in the workplace, you might want to look elsewhere.
