Capital One’s workplace is a cut-throat environment where team members and colleagues take note of any weakness to exploit that weakness for their gain. Office politics, manipulation, and backstabbing are common at Capital One as associates seek to gain an edge over their peers. Colleagues engage in undermining each other to secure coveted positions. Associates at Capital One sacrifice their work-life balance in an attempt to stay ahead – working long hours and constantly focusing on career advancement.
