I started working at Carsense in 2003. I was hired as a Service consultant at our Chester Springs location. I had worked at traditional dealerships for years. The first real "Eye Opener" for me was the service consultants are not paid on commission. Really??????? That was a shocker for me because every other dealership I ever worked for you were paid a very low salary and was expected to "Make your Money" by selling service to customers. So for me knowing that i was being paid a nice hourly wage and I didn’t have to cringe when the customer didn’t buy the recommended services was huge. After 5 years as a successful service consultant I was promoted to Retail service Manager of our Hatfield location. After 2 years I was then promoted again to be the Inventory Manager/Buyer for Hatfield. So the pros: - Work hard and you will be noticed and rewarded - You are always expected to do the "Right thing" for customers and the company - Promoting within the company is a huge part of my success - Upper management does care for our customers and the employee’s - 401k/Profit sharing is second to none - Paid Vacations/personal days and Paid Holidays - Company outings and the company’s Christmas parties incredible!
