Vantaggi
-Occasional snacks provided but beverages are always stocked. -During the "Busy Season" plenty of opportunity for OT. -Owner of the company (Ward) is a kind gentleman and is the most accessible manger in the office.
Svantaggi
-General Manager only has time to listen to a handful of employees, while the rest are treated like peons. If you are not a department head she doesn't have time for you. -Rules don't apply to everyone in the office. Certain departments are free to do what they want, when they want. The others are ridden hard and scrutinized for taking breaks and making a single mistake. There is a lot of preferential treatment to the "longer tenured" employees instead of equal treatment all around. -New management doesn't fit well with the team dynamic, she is a micro manager that sets strict rules and doesn't follow them herself (always late) nor can she do the job she is the manager of. -The workload is very unbalanced and the pay is not competitive. -During the "off-season" which is three quarters of the year (Jan thru Sept) there is next to nothing to do. Days are slower than watching paint dry. -On the flip side the "Busy season" is extremely busy and the office is overrun by temporary employees that are for the most part not equipped with experience nor skill set needed for the job. This Makes the workload for the permanent employees extra heavy. -No structure in the management team. Every customer service representative and graphic production artist is given the title of "supervisor" making the chain of command confusing and a hassle to go through. -Little to no room for advancement/growth.
