The benefits are great for a company it’s size and they provide a good matching percentage for their 401K. There are employees that have worked with CEF for more than 10 years. The training is an introduction to freight brokerage and then you learn on the job. CEF pays a good salary and offers a good commission plan that allows you to earn while you learn. There are people who work here for only a year with no previous experience and are already on their way to making $70k with an eye to over a $100K+ before the end of their second year. Diversity is a strength of CEF and there are all kinds of people from many backgrounds and other industries who have and are becoming successful at CEF. If you are willing to work hard, accept common sense instruction and build on the training through self learning then you can have a successful career at CEF.
