If you have no better options, sure, take a job at Cargomatic, but keep your search going. It’s not a matter of if, but when you will be laid off: I’ve seen people of all levels get canned after a few months or many years of service. They will often lay people off while interviewing/hiring people for the same job title at the same time. Management will always optimize for the next balance sheet vs. building a healthy sustainable company. Priorities change every other week and everybody will have to switch gears and drop all the work they’ve been doing to focus on the next shiny thing.
