Not much work to do

Svantaggi

They hire and fire a lot be very careful if you are even considering them. They do not disclose that at all. They hire when they THINK they will get a job and fire when they realize they will not get a job. Management likes to portray a n image of always getting work but they are about a few months from broke usually. pay is also not very good - if you think you will be living like a consultant think again. they love hiring from the big 4 audit side because the big 4 audit pay is also not very good so it makes their salary offer look reasonable.

When decisions are made to hire new employees, we always consider the long-term opportunity. We never hire employees for specific projects, and in the CRG’s 13+ years we have not fired a single employee due to lack of projects. Regarding pay, we evaluate our compensation packages from time to time in comparison to other employers in the market as well as our industry, we find that our compensation and benefits, are not only fair, but above market average. This includes other management consulting firms and does not focuses on specific practices, such as audit. It is unfortunate that you had such a negative experience CRG and hope you have better experiences in your future employment. We would be happy to discuss further at info@carlyriangroup.com.

Vantaggi

Culture: management heavily invested in developing talent in terms of both core analytical skills, and leadership capabilities. Team is collaborative, supportive, and enjoys spending time together. Client exposure / exit opps: boutique environment creates great opportunities for client exposure. Many team members left to roles related to past engagements after working closely with executives in strategy, process improvement, and innovation related groups Training: strong investments in creating well-rounded professionals with the analytical capabilities required for leadership roles

Svantaggi

At the time that I joined the firm, it was a young company with immature processes and policies. Expect that this has improved over time.
