- 9 people out of their ~20 person team quit (resigned) within a few months. That says something. - Cult culture. Management gets offended when your job is not your life. - Tons of politics & workplace gossip fueled by one of the partners. - People Managers aren't about the people. These managers are under pressure to report everything their reports say back to the partners. As a result, when you truly need support, you don't end up going to your people manager. - Low pay for management consulting

Constant team engagement and feedback is something we value strongly. We have implemented a number of strategies to encourage two-way communication including regular team and individual feedback sessions, tools to submit anonymous questions and concerns, as well as ways to share accountability and increase empowerment across our management team. We understand that our work/projects are demanding at times. We have programs in place to recognize the dedication of our team to deliver value to our clients, and it is currently a focus of ours to support our team necessity to manage a healthy work/life balance. We also regularly review our compensation packages with other employers in the market as well as our industry. We find that our packages are not only fair, but above market average in many ways. In addition, we recently rolled out an extended benefits package to better serve our team. Client exposure / exit opps: boutique environment creates great opportunities for client exposure. Many team members left to roles related to past engagements after working closely with executives in strategy, process improvement, and innovation related groups Training: strong investments in creating well-rounded professionals with the analytical capabilities required for leadership roles

At the time that I joined the firm, it was a young company with immature processes and policies. Expect that this has improved over time.
