Vantaggi
Get to work remotely due to Covid
Svantaggi
- Management sets goals/deadlines based on what they want, but makes no effort to account for feasibility, resources, or employee feedback. - For the typical "Monday to Friday" corporate job, you're expected to work a full day (including meetings) almost every Saturday, and 60-70+ hour weeks are not unusual. - Zero training for employees when put on a task they know nothing about. They "throw you in the deep end" and you're on your own figuring out how to swim. - Insistence on unattainable deadlines leads to dangerous practices. People in the mill were watching training presentations on their computers when they were supposed to be monitoring heavy machinery. A system was put online before it was ready which I fear may lead to inaccurate materials being shipped. Hopefully none of them are critical to life. - Almost everyone in my department feels like we're either on the wrong track or woefully unprepared, but no one speaks up because they know it will fall on deaf ears. - Managers are just "yes men" to the senior management, and never care about the well-being of their employees. - Many long-time employees have recently had enough and left, making the situation worse for those left behind without their experience and knowledge. NOTE: Does anybody else think the recent 5-star reviews with the bare minimum amount of text seem a bit fishy?
